Friday 5 for February 15: Halls of Fame

Hello, and welcome to this week’s Friday 5! Please copy this week’s questions to your online journal. Answer the questions there, then leave a comment below telling us where we can all check out your responses. Don’t forget to link us from your website, please!

A certain American football player whom we consider one of the greatest players ever was denied once again enshrinement in the Pro Football Hall of Fame. He is the consensus “greatest” at his position, yet the voters refuse to honor him. So this week’s questions are a small protest in support of a certain punter who wore #8 in the seventies and eighties! Put him in the Hall, people!

  1. A Community Service Hall of Fame has just been established in Kinder Crossing, Arizona! Who in your life will be the first to get in?
  2. Looks like they’re breaking ground this week on Hazard Point, Maryland for the Crazy Driver Hall of Fame! Who in your life will be the first to get in?
  3. Due to the avalanche of complaint letters we’ve received, we are founding the Complainers Hall of Fame and locating it in Gripe County, New Mexico. Who in your life should be enshrined first?
  4. Clutter Point, Texas seems to be a good place for the Packrat Hall of Fame. Whom would you like to nominate for induction?
  5. The good folks in Mellow Creek, Alabama have raised enough money finally to open the doors to the Unstressed Hall of Fame. Who in your life is likely to cruise on into its hallowed halls as the first honoree?

Thanks for participating, and have a clutter-free weekend!
